Default Judderign at 5000Rpm when lettign off

Hi Guys.

Im still having a problem with my 2003 WRX.

When i am in 3rd 4th or 5th and am at around 5500Rpm if i let off the gas the car judders pretty badly. Now soem times this only happens at higher revs any thing above 5000rpm really.

I cleaned the Solinoid in the engien bay to the left of the altinator on this picture (not my car)

I have also done a clean of the system by connecting the green connectors under the dash and turing teh key on for 10 minutes. as instruced by Subaru.

The car is not mapped and it still does the same thing, andy F said he could hear a nock.

Can some one help i really dont want to take my car back to the garage again.....

what spark plugs you running and how are they gapped? Though this is mainly juddering when the car is accelerating, not when you let off the gas

If you're runnung NGK PFR7b's they're better at 0.65-0.7mm (not 8mm lol ).

Not sure this would be the cause of your problem however..

IF youve fitted an hks ssqv then it needs to be adjusted ,sounds to me like the juddering is being caused by this.

The boost solenoid isn't to the left of the alternator - that's the fuel vapour solenoid back to the tank.
Looking at that photo, the boost solenoid is where the small anodised blue thing is on the drivers side suspension turret.
What mods have you done to the car?
What else did Andy advise? Leaving it at being just a knocking sounds like half the story.

I might have missed something here, but am I correct in saying that you have a front mount and a VTA dump valve? Also if the car is not mapped I assume the MAF is still connected?

Has anyone been out in the car with DeltaDash or similar logging the ECU when the juddering happens?

Andrew...
