Thought that FMICs introduced more lag into the equation as well ?

Neilo is right. The FMIC will not add to lag if the mapper has done a good job (ie AndyF map)
On my 20g I went from STi v8 TMIC to Hybrid FMIC, remap and I cannot feel any more lag at all.

Would dearly like to try an 18g too after a remap!

Graham.
