Turbo noise from recon TD04

Turbo noise from recon TD04
I'm having trouble thinking how to describe this.
I get a high pitch 'singing' noise when throttle is moderate to hard down from about 3500 / 4000 rpm onwards and its turbo related.
It seems like a metalic noise rather than the whoosh / whirring of turbines.
Can anyone relate to this ?
Mark out of 10 for decription ?
Any ideas what it is ?
Cheers

Thanks but this is a recon unit, I've had to change twice already and won't be doing it again, unless it's about to explode.
Does everyone have a completly silent turbos then ?

My standard td04 and also the vf34 did/do this. Like a metallic screech that increases in pitch and volume, only with window down, never really gets that loud.
Thought it was the td04 but did it from day 1 with the vf34 also. Never found a cause but doesn't seem to impair performance, so I don't worry about it. I think it is from the passage of exhaust gas through turbine at higher speeds, as it isn't there on low boost, but only when it's cranked up.
Hope this helps
