Take the intercooler off and you'll see it sticking straight up out of the crankcase. It's close to the turbo-intercooler pipe and has one pipe leading off to the underneath of the throttle body, the other one plumbs in to the inlet pipe before the turbo.

Thanks - found it now!

OK, well that doesn't seem to be blocked so not sure why it is blowing the seals. Is there a valve that could be pressurising?

have you tried removing the oil filler cap whilst the engine is idling.. if it more than a moderate warm air puffing out then there is a pressure problem..
is the seal getting blown out or leaking?

Block off the inlet to the manifold, allow the crank breather to vent to atmosphere. Watch for excess oil being discharged.

Seal is getting pushed out and then the front surface wears off

Sounds like a you've got a problem with the crankcases pressurising

The problem started ever since I had the car serviced at one of the so-called Subaru specialists near me (comes highly recommended on this site), the cambelt was changed and when the car was given back to me it was leaking. I took it back and it was replaced only for it to leak again...needless to say I would rather do the job myself now.

So what could be causing the pressurisation - I checked the crankcase breather (at least what I think is the breather - feeds into the inlet pipe and goes into top of engine below the turbo) and this seems to be clear.

If the breather is ok then the only other cause would be compression rings, unless boost from the inlet is some how being fed into the crank case?.

Yes that most certainly would be, however there is a valve where the breather pipe enters the inlet manifold, if you refer to my previous post.
