Help, my 20G wont fit my new 2.5 Block
My mechanic just called to say he cant fit the Td05/06-20G to the new EJ257 2.5 Block, he said it was to do with the new block (Axis stage2) having 8 bolts as oposed to the old block (MY97 Type R) having 6 bolts.
As this biuld is just eating more money day by day this worries me, Any ideas on how to overcome this without getting a rotated turbo. Or is it a case Grinding and Bodging?
I'll post some pics tomorrow when I pop round there
Thanks Alex

If it's due to the bell housing, you would expect all '99 on cars to have the same fitting issue !
What is more common, is the variances found on the aftermarket headers/up pipes.
It's not uncommon for the up pipe to end up in a slightly different place. As a double check, make sure the up pipe bracket is bolted up, and everything lines up. If you can't do it, then it's sitting in a different place.
Mark.
