DCCD cars are the closest you will get to it though you still have power (approx 35%) going to the front wheels.
Id not try to retro fit this though, it would be a pain to do.
The cars characteristics will vary to understeer when its all the way back to oversteer all the way forward.

Sorry to butt in to this thread but i have a question.... on a standard sti no centre diff what propursion of power is given to front and rear, eg. 60/40 front or 60/40 rear or is it a even split......

You could remove the front diff and have some plates welded over the output shaft holes.. Obviously there is no "switch" involved lol!

I have a spare centre diff so I might just weld that up and try it on the car for 6 months or so and see how I get on!

No probs.

I tig welded mine, well, my brotherinlaw ( the engineer ) did, he warmed it all before welding and then cooled it in a contolled enviroment.... He said mig was too brittle ??? It's still in one piece, that's all i know.

Not sure if all diffs are the same ?

Swopping the diffs is pretty straight forward, but then i am lucky enough to have a 4 post lift, would'nt fancy doing it on axle stands or the like. Think it probably took about 2 hours to remove it... lots of WD40. Prob about the same to refit... with a little help.

Stripping the thing was a different story though... Just make sure you do a drawing or mark everything so you know how it goes back... can get a bit fiddly.
