surprise ,surprise Ron ,i bought it from ebay (gtschris).it's a manual 1 supposedly fitted from the boost source to the wastegate.looks a bit like a metal tee-piece with the boost adjuster at one end.I presume you cut the pipe from the boost solenoid and join it there? don't quote me on that!
Sorry if its a bit vague.
Many thanks Ron.

You need to put a (ideally new) pipe from the inlet impeller housing onto the straight end, and the pipe on the 'T' piece go's to the actuator......
I would avoid using the old pipes, cos one of them had a very small brass restrictor in it.....

Then presumably you adjust the '****' until you reach the desired boost, do you have a boost gauge...??
it'd be better to loosen the **** to start with, cos tightening it will uncrease boost, and you don't wanna have too much of that straight away..... even though lots of boost = big grins...!!

Try looking here -

http://stefanostadal.homedns.org/car_mods_engine.htm

might be a good idea to post a picture of the controller! I saw one on Ebay that was described as fitting any turbo car. I researched on the net and here only to find out it was actually a diesel one!

Post the pic and someone will confirm!!!!

In this picture you can make out a 'pig tail' shaped pipe, with a brassy thing in it near the turbo........ that is the pipe that you need to be changing over....
