Hi guys

Just a quick question with regards a Manual Boost Controller. Basically my question is I currently have a single pipe connected to the throttle body to the mbc and then another pipe leading from the mbc to the actuator. However, when the car had a unichip fitted witht he mbc the tuners had installed a small plastic restrictor in the pipe coming from the throttle body ? Now I don't have this restrictor in place and am wondering as to whether anyone can tell me what this was supposed to do ?? Does it change boost characteristics or something ??

Any views would be welcome

Its suppose to delay the amt of air going to your actuator so that you achieve boost faster.

Hope this helps.
