at the least you will need to fit a new belt and pulley to assess the damage..............
unkown until you do, it may have valve damage, maybe not??

No it doesn't meen knackered
The "proper" way is to remove engine, remove heads, remove valve gear and valves then inspect them to ensure they are not bent or damaged. In most cases it is repairable.
The bodgit and scarper way is to put on a new belt and find out later. Which could open a can of worms. With worst case scienario with the potential of a slightly bent valve being continuously flexed as it opens and shuts, which one day at 6000rpm it decides to break off and mash up your piston, scrape the bore, bend your conrod and self destruct the whole engine.

TBH if it cracked a cam wheel then it could have cracked the head casting holding the cam behind it. I saw this very scenario in a set of heads involved in a frontal impact yesterday

if you replace the obvious broken parts, re-fit the belt and then turn over you will 'see' any damage apart from very slight.......................
if its an insurance claim they will quite probably "write-off" the car anyway, seen this a number of times / they run a mile at potential expensive engine repairs.........
