Default tdo5 18g

i have a 2002 wrx it has full decat,filter,uprated fuel pump and sti intercooler it has a remap and produces 15 psi i have fitted a megan racing manifold, sti injectors,aps cold air induction and a new td05 18g turbo the car now only produces 6 psi i know that it should not be driven hard till another remap but i only drove it for 5 min and only up to 4 thousand rpm could any one tell me why.Do you have to set the actuator when you buy a new turbo cheers MOMO

Suggest you talk to the people who sold you the turbo, or Andy F or Pavlo at Zen Performance.
Dosn't seem correct.

thats wot i thought i got the turbo from andy f i sent him a pm so will wait and see wot he says just thought i would ask to see if anyone has come accross the same thing ( weird) MOMO

It could be due to one of several things.

It's certainly possible that the arm on the waste gate needs adjusting, but whan you swapped over, did you re-fit the restrictor ?

Or iit could also be a leaking pipe, or something else that was done during all the changes.

Forgot to say that I'd be very carefull about driving it on bigger injectors, until it's re-mapped.
