Is that not a lot to be running on standard WRX internals?

i think they can take a bit more bhp a couple of boys on here are running the same turbo with front mounts and boost controlers at higher bhp and thers are fine, the box should also take that power but not so sure about the clutch just have to see how it goes MOMO

Good stuff then mate, I have a 02WRX and would love to see that kind of power, just dont wanna blow my box.

Mind you i do know of a cheap JDM 6 speed and diff going rather cheap, hmmmmm

Might be after a VF24 Turbo with similar other mods to you, i wonder how different it would be.

would reach anywhere near the peak power....i think the VF24 is only good for about 330 reliably.....(he says "only")

yeh i think 330 from the vf24 is at its limits but 3-4 weeks ago i would have been more than happy with that sort of power its a big difference over standard. I think you would get more bhp out of a tdo5 than a vf24 maybe 340-350 with supporting mods MOMO

Whats the going rate for a TD05 then and can you get 20g rather than 18?

i think andy f could supply you with a tdo5 try his web site www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk you do get a 20g but i think you would get the most out of it with the 2.5 bottom end MOMO

Welcome to the Bugeye / Andy Forrest TD05 18G owners club !! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do ....LOL

You just need a AVCR with nicely tuned "gear Judge" settings for the "in gear" frolics into the nearest hedge !!!!

It's what a bugeye should be

cheers very impressed with it and a bit more, andy was talking about the avcr thinking about it will it make more of a difference to the power or does it just hold boost at high revs. Also are they complicated to fit cheers MOMO

This is just my experience......... I use the A69 and the local Cumbrian roads quite a bit and what I want is to overtake cars as fast as posible What the AVCR seems to do is keep boost up during overtaking and changing gear ! perfect for what I want

The downside is that if the ECU thinks things are going pants and tries to reduce boost then ...it can't !! sort of ruins the "limp home mode" !!

another layer of safety erroded.....LOL

also looks like the dogs dangly bits and well worth the dosh for the "eye candy"

Ah, this thread makes me feel sad about selling my bugeye

She only had 316BHP but looked superb IMHO The days of the CEL fix seem so long ago LOL

Shaun, thought you was going to stop modding yours, bet you're secretly planning a 2.5 conversion and 6 speed box
