Default Car sneezing!

Hi Guys,

my MY94 WRX has started sneezing over the last couple of days. From inside the car it sounds as though it is coming from the (standard) dump valve. It is a quite sssssssshhhhhhh sound like the sound the dump valve makes on gear change but without the initial whoosh, it seems to happen about every 30 seconds while under load but not at all when just idling.

Is this something to worry about or has it always been there and i've only just noticed?

Cheers, Tony.

Thats the point you see its not at high boost. Trundling along in 5th at 50-60 and its doing it every 30 seconds or so. Its always been there on gear changes but never when under load.

Have looked under the bonnet and the pipe coming from the dump valve is split. Will any same bore pipe do to replace it? Do Samco do the correct sized pipe off the shelf?
