Thumbs up SVA HELP

Once again i turn to you chaps for a little help about the old SVA test.

I have a heavly Moddied scooby on its way and i have been told the SVA boyz are going to rip it apart(wanting to turn it all standard again)!!

Is this the case? is there a way of avoiding this?...when i mean heavy i mean 500bhp...ex drag racer.

Anyhelp or information will be GREAT Thanks ;-)

Are you importing it personally or through an agent?
Speak to the agent or contact Mark at Import Car Parts, West Auckland, Co. Durham. If you have problems finding his address P.M. me.
What gearbox does it have???

mate it will need to be stripped down to make it pass the safety and emmisions test of the SVA. Mine had full bolt in roll cage - all had to come out so did all the additional boost guages.
Are you doing the prep work for the SVA?

Thank you chaps, yes the car has roll cage, more clocks than a plane and everything in the car has been modified!!!

the box is a trip tronic box made for the Scooby. I can not strip this car to standard as it will kill it and i would rather leave it as a track car!!

Any ideas??????????????????????????

..and yes it s a personal import by myself!

You do realise that everything that comes out in order to pass SVA - can go back in after you have the SVA?

I live in belfast mate. But we have to take are cars to get tested in dublin. It costs 500 pound for a test here but that includes them doing all the conversion work.I am not totally positive but i dont think that southern cars need an sva however when you take the car to england i think that you have to re register it and produce all sva,vat forms etc,Believe me once i find a loop hole everyone on here will know about it
