it should be steel blue and it will have RB5 in the interior on the dash clocks, plus wont the log book give it away

its has a plack on the dask that says rb5 but the car is a R-reg and i have been told they only made them it grey and mine is blue and only made them in year 1999 and i cant find the model code for my one so need a bit of help it thats ok

GC8EK8D would be a MY97 2.0 Turbo

GC8GK8D would be a MY99 RB5

There should be a Vin Plate next to the passenger side front Suspension top, this will have a code on it, if there is no Vin plate there, be VERY WORRIED!

My advice would be to get the VIN number and contact Subaru UK (IM) to enquire about it's origin.
