Default How much for a UK fuel ecu alteration?

i'm in essex and was wondering who can do it near me and how much it'd be 'ish...? ie. get the car to run on 98 RON, also, can they tweak the performance at the same time?

thanks in advance

Gettin the car to run on 98ron is free, just put the stuff in, and after a few tank fulls it'll be happy again, if you want it mapped then that would obviously cost, but isn't really worthwhile unless you've got at least a few mods!!

In that case you should be using 98 + octane booster as a minimum, thats just to be safe, Not totally sure if a remap of the original ecu's possible, greasemonkey would know, look out for his name cropping up in the technical sections and ask him!!

A 95 WRX runs the same fuel/ignition map as the UK Prodrive Conversion for that year. Prodrive advise using 98 RON on these cars so you should be fine.

Infact the Prodrive Conversion actually runs slightly more boost.

The earlier WRX 92 - 94 are more of a concern tho' due to the differences in the mapping.
