For a few weeks the car has been way down on power and acceleration - kind of felt like the turbo wasnt working?????
Then yesterday all of a sudden under acceleration, POW! it took off like a missile and is back to normal...
i hadnt realised how slow it had become until the power came back!

Anyone got any ideas what the problem was or if it will happen again???

Have you tried cleaning the boost solinoid/pipes????????

Biggest bet is to check your MAF. Id be worried about getting sudden power, as when they fail, they fail lean thus your car feels quicker and quicker, then, blown engine.

What sirt of filter are you using? Is it just slow on boost, or before then too?

its a k+n filter.
