Drop in boost pressure - where to start?
At the start of Feb I had my car fitted with a ECUTEK remap. Its an MY00 with de-cat and K&N panel.
After the map it was hitting about 16PSI max on my Autometer gauge which is connected to the little extra port on the manifold. However, I noticed after a quick blat today it couldn't get over 15PSI and it seems to be taking longer for it to hit the max pressure.
Car doesn't feel that much slower but its not like it was before. I thought I should check for any leaks first but not sure where to start. Its always been run on Optimax and hasn't developed any other issues.
Any ideas if I can't find any leaks? Its due for a service very soon but I guess I can't ask the Subaru dealer to check why my mods aren't what they were.

iv'e got the opposite mate, MY00 full de-cat ecutek full custom re-map 6 weeks ago, and mine can hit 1.6bar in 4th and 5th. I was told peak was set at 1.3bar then it holds around 1.0bar easily, but driven hard it 4th and 5th it hits 1.6bar I,m a bit worried now and may have to drive back to Nottingham to get it checked out.

May just be a bad tank of fuel....I accidently filled up with 95 (OK I could blame the missus) I can't take the car over 3.5k rpm without det...........
You may have got the dregs before the new lot of optimax was delivered......

Scoobyfella - I don't know but say your MAF was on its way out wouldn't that make the car go faster?
zhastaph - Where abouts is the boost solenoid and how do I clean it?
