No there isnt an updated version for the MY01-02,i went to Subaru for a replacement for my MY01 and it was £160 ish as it comes with the FULL airbox,it is different to the classic which can be bought new for around £40.
I managed to get a brand new one off an MY02 (FREE)

Warranty didnt cover the original as i had an iTG Filter.

£160 notes...Subaru r' aving a laugh!!
I'll keep my fingers, legs, arms crossed and hope my MAF isn't starting on the downward slope to failure.

Do you have any light cleaning fluid (nothing too strong)give it a clean as i've seen 2 Maf units on Bugeyes that where showing signs of failure and with some gentle cleaning they were back on song.

They where both running ITG filters which have since been replaced with STi filters.

I've got something here that is very 'soft' screen cleaner, but question is...what part do I clean?? Sorry if plank question but me MAF is plastic with bottom like a polo connected to a tube. Mine doesn't have a fine wire...is that correct? You can see the gutts on the reverse side of the MAF, but does that need cleaning?

I think I'll change the scoob badge to ferrari in the making (from spare parts).

Zippy...do you just spray all the MAF with cleaner and let it dry?

Anyone got pic of a MAF on MY02 as I'm sure mine has something missing from the middle of the opening. It's had a blitz filter fitted for about 300-500 miles.
