Yea i know Ron, its pi$$ing about underneath, to get at the filter, and getting it back on right.
Especially when you cant get that far under. (actually i havent tried.)
Plus i live on a main road, park round the corner but its on a slope.

All you need is a pavement, park the car two wheels on the road, two on the curb, and you can get underneath enough to get the sheild off, drain the oil, do the filter, and put it all back together again. simple! oh, don't forget to put new oil in though!
Fill the filter first, and when refilled, disconnect the crank sensor and spin over until pressure comes up.

Job done!

WTF? Takes a bit longer than that if you do it properly. Need a good hour to prefill the new filter, then there's CPS removal/crank/refit procedure...

No. You won't get an error code from the CPS removal/crank/refit procedure.

Pops up everytime on my Leggy.
ECU sees the sensor as open circuit.

To be fair, you only acually fill the filter so that it takes lees time to get the pressure up, if you're gonna crank the motor till the light goes out, you don't really need to, it might just take a second or two longer.

Ron.

ps, there's no way it should take an hour!
