A normal WRX lambda reading will saturate/clip at that lambda reading. It is actually richer.

You cannot tell how rich you really are (in fuelling terms )

Edit - I presume the units are lambda not volts Andrew.

Question

Anyone know what the scale would be for being over-rich (and lean) using the Secs monitor? My motor runs to almost .76 (maybe under that) when on full boost...that sound okay?

If thats .76 volts from the Lambda sensor then its very lean for full boost.

The ECU will have a lower value than you would see on an accurate DVM but you should be seeing .87+ under full boost.

Andrew mate, it's from a secs monitor which reads from ECU...it's the other way around with this monitor. Runs upto 1.64 when on over-run (no throttle) which is lean and down to .76 (the lowest it will read) for rich running.

Okay then, anyone know what the SECS is reading here?

Obviously it's not the voltage straight off the lambda. Is it meant to refer to an air:fuel ratio (and they're not converting it properly) or what?

It is "lambda" off the pseudo-wideband.

Lambda = AFR/14.7

So 11.5 AFR is lambda 0.78 for example.

The new age pseudo wideband goes as rich as about 11.3 AFR and then clips.
