Dawes Device

Wondering if anyone knows if the Dawes device is a worth while mod, would I need to adjust air/fuel ratio or will the ECU do this for me? also does the standard ECU have a safety cut off after 14.7 psi of boost?

I have one on a MY95, had no problems (apart from blowing the intercooler off it's mounts twice)
Advice would be to have a Knocklink or Lamdalink fitted before trying it.
p.s. Also in Aberdeen if you want to see it for yourself first.

I've just put on on my MY94 and it works well. Your fuel cut boost setting depends on the model of car. It could be in the 15.5 PSI region. Best to have a knock link and afr as well as a boost gauge if you want to experiment with boost increases. The ECU should compensate for fuelling within sensible boost ranges.
