They are VERY embarrasing!!
I mean how are you supposed to get angry at some1 who cuts you up when all you have is a wee *toot* that sounds more at home postman pats van!
I don't know of a particularly good horn but i'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see if any1 else thinks the same thing!!

I've seen it mentioned on other threads, something I plan to do but haven't got around to yet.
Think you can swap the two cavalier horns with no mods (they sound good and plentyful at breakers) also VW sound meaty and swap over too. Also understand Halfords do replacement pair (in red) but I've never seen them.
Good luck, put a post up with your solution.

The twin Fiamm horns from Halfords do the job nicely (the normal disc type ones, not airhorns), cost around £15. One of the first jobs I done when I got the car, sounds much more meaty Im not embarrased to beep at people if they pull out in front of me now!
Basically just replaced the existing horns with the new ones, no need for the relay just use the standard wires cos the current draw is similar. Only slight problem is the one behind the grille is a tight squeeze cos the new one is thicker than the original.

As has been said further up the thread, the twin diaphragm horns sold by Halfords for £15 are just the ticket (packaging says Ring, but they're made by Fiamm). Give a loud but classy note, not a hint of "Corsa", unlike most air horns, and much easier to install.
You'll have to use a spot of ingenuity when fitting them though, as they're a bit bulkier than the standard items. The one next to the battery's not too much of a problem, but you'll have to do a bit more with the other one.
It will fit in the standard, behind grille location with a suitably shaped bracket, but I ended up putting it behind the offside headlight, figuring that the increase in airflow through the rad couldn't do any harm

No, they're universal fit. M6 stud on the back of them if I recall correct.
They come with nuts/washers and flat brackets that you can bend to shape, although I seem to recall knocking some better ones up.
Edited to say that the one thing you should do with them is remove the tacky looking chrome grilles on the ends of the trumpets. Far too Corsa!
