I have a P1 and am looking to put 22b rear brakes on (from a crashed 22b). Does anybody know if they will fit (I am guessing they will) and what the difference is - I think the 22b brakes may be 2 pot.

Also , will the rear screen and side windows fit-again , I think they should but if anyone knows different please let me know.

Many thanks.

The glass fitment will be fine, no probs, but the twin pot rear brakes need different rear hubs/driveshafts and maybe rear plated LSD, and in any case the 22B rear hubs don't have the holes etc... for the ABS sensors so..... no go I feel. Not a great loss and spend the money on making it go faster or stop better on the front...

Cheers Dave

You have saved me some money and a lot of embarrassment!! suppose I could try and get the gearbox and diffs as well!!That may be getting carried away - think will take your advice .Want to get sports cat downpipe which I understand Prodrive may be bringing out.

Thanks again.

Jon, I thought you would have had two pots on the rear of your P1 anyway? They were fitted to the P1 derived STI6.

IMHO I think the clear windows and 50/50 gearing of the P1 is a better all round package anyway. and Ive got a TypeR STI with black windows and variable diff
What am I saying

Due to the retro fit of ABS to the P1's, they had the twin pots, thicker rear shafts, plated diff taken off!!!!!

Please read my earlier post...

if you fit the centre diff you lose abs as the two units are incompatible on the old shape car.
