Hose identification
Hi
Can anyone help me identify this small damaged hose please? I know I should know this but engine bays are not my strong point... It's a 2001 Forester S/Tb STi (auto). Thanks

The hose shown in the picture is part of the vacuum/boost control pipes.
Part number 14449AA080 and should contain a small restrictor "pill" with a very small (1.2mm dia) hole in it.
Item 1 below
The pill itself is part number 22326KA120
Image showing full setup
From your photos it is difficult to see if you actually have the tee-piece connection.

Yes, it has the tee connector. Is this why it was dying during hard acceleration? Is it safe to drive this steadily until I get the replacement? Thanks for your info btw.

Get a piece of window washer hose or silicone hose remove the pill from the old hose which is between the compressor outlet and the T piece. Cut to length and then a little lubrication on the pill push it into the new hose and make sure the hole in the pill is not restricted. Replace hose job done. Ten minutes max
P.S. Pill needs to be a tight ish fit in hose.
