Default Does EML light normally come on
Does EML light normally come on when you fit a sports cat to a newage Impreza? As I bought a new cat for my daily non turbo as the exhaust was getting rotten.

I bought a standard cat, and centre pipe. Long story but ended up with sports cat. So after fitting it all was good. But then light came on code said something about cat efficiency.

Then remembered had this a few years back with a blobeye non turbo. As bought a new stainless steel exhaust but removed it after a week and went back to standard. As was too loud.

0420 error cat threshold, easy tweek on your ecu.

Cheers that looks like the one. Does this mean the car won't pass the mot? Or just map tweek? As my mate might be able do that.

A little waste gate tweek and turn the 0420 code off.

It's on my N/A bud. I've turned the code off and added some engine cleaner, seeing if that will help.
