My complete exhaust was failing apart on my newage non turbo, so i decided to buy a sports cat with standard exhaust. But 2 weeks later engine management light come on.

Is that due to the sports cat? I've not had time to get the code checked out.

 

check the codes first, could be one of the sensors was bumped when the exhaust was being fitted just.

Ok so it shouldn't bring on engine light? Car runs perfectly fine. But sports cat only has one cat in it.

 

it depends on the car, some run fine some throw a code - check the codes and you'll see.
