Default Vibration under load

Alright chaps I replaced my rear diff last week due to my old one failing been taking it easy since but went out for a spirited drive yesterday and now I have a bad vibration under load and it's like the steering feels heavy there is no knocks or bangs just the whole car shakes when you put your foot down between 2000 and 3500 revs any ideas?? I've heard it could be the universal joint that's failed any advice would be great

Cheers
Craig

Driveshaft bent or not seated ?
Transmition mount ?
Or if it's rumbling knocking vibe ? That diff is goosed
Id start with checking your driveshaft first

Well had the car in the garage this week they are unable to find what the fault is :/ they said its like something is off balance so im at a complete loss at what to do I don't want to start buying parts ***** nilly guessing what it could be I will try explain it a bit more the vibration is a lot worse at slower speeds when the Rev range is between 2500 and 4000 revs it also seems to be gojng thud thud thud from the front Aswell as the vibration so its Deffo a moving part and it gets worse after the car has warmed up after a run and only does it when it's in gear under load all gears select fine and there appears to be no sort of noise help!! Lol

Does the joint on the end of the prop move free or does it feel like goes in notches like you can feel each roller pin?

When you changed the rear diff you didn't drop the prop?

No diff to chassis touching anywhere like any of the bushes are shot?

It may well turn out to be the new diff of it only started after changing it.

Did you actually check you replaced the diff with a matching part?

UK and JAP models have different final drive ratios and using the wrong rear diff for your gearbox will cause your centre diff to **** itself.

Well update what ever is broke finally let go driving along and there was a loud bang the car doesn't want to move it engages gear but trying to set off its really difficult there is a grinding squeezing noise coming from the rear its almost like the wheels don't wanna turn and it's really badly pulling like the tracking is massively out also it would appear that when u reverse its no where near as bad could it be the diff in the gearbox has failed ?

Does sound like you've fitted the wrong ratio rear diff, which has now killed the gearbox.
I have a blob ty754vn4aa gearbox with matching rear diff and near mint uprated clutch for sale just now. £400 plus postage

Gearbox now on eBay and gumtree. £400 with near new uprated clutch and matching rear diff. Cheapest blob box on eBay, one of very few with the diff and certainly none with clutches
