All I have ever seen on here about lpg is conflicting reports from people who know someone who had it fitted.
I fitted lpg to my 98 wrx which ran perfectly fine on gas with flashlube. I cant remember how many miles I did on it but it never skipped a beat.
I also converted a bmw 320, a lexus is200 and bmw 330. All of which ran fine.

There's at least a couple of members running new age wrxs on LPG as well, but I can't remember their usernames.
Granted the wrx engine is 4 pot, of course, but should give some idea as to suitability.
I seem to recall JGM wrote on pistonheads that he had mapped a couple of cars with LPG as well, with decentish results.
These guys are doing Subaru conversions incl h6, so it's definitely possible: http://www.ozonlpg.com/lpg_conversion_subaru.html
This thread has some decent info as well: https://www.scoobynet.com/showthread.php?t=849493&styleid=26

the only problem ive got - week before and after my battery die(8years old)
it needs 5sec to start engine when switched off on lpg, before I turn it off needs switch on petrol than it starts straight.
i did few longer runs on petrol but it did not help
i would not cry when it pops next year - sti time
i would not fit lpg if i would buy sti instead wrx ppp probably
in the other hand if i could have 350hp on lpg i will do it even for spec c
kit -i know its stag 300 ecu fitted by lpg wales with live warranty
in H6 its not about vrs, its about valve regulation
