Default OIL?

hey people going do a service on my car any advice on best oil for it with out breaking my wallet many thanks its a 1998 s reg turbo wagon also any idear where i could get cheap front 4 pots ?

you get what you pay for with oil - cut corners and it will cost you more in the long run - fuchs titan is best

I may be able to help with 4 pots, I don't like the word 'cheap' though lol!

Give opie oils a ring mate, you get discount for being on the site. I use millers CFS 5-40 in my10 STI 👍

Don't scrimp on engine oil. Save a few quid on oil now and possibly spend a fortune on fixing a fooked engine in the future.

Semi synthetic is fine.
In my experience, frequent oil changes are more important that the quality of the oil. Get an oil that meets all the engines requirements (look on the back for all the codes) and you'll be fine.
Of course, you could get the best and treat your motor like a virgin, but on an "S" reg I'm guessing that she's already seen allsorts.

nar she anit only got 52000 on clock europarts said 10w-40 valvoline will be fine or shell?

The 10w40 fully synthetic is good enough, stick with that and if she starts losing oil then go for a thicker grade.
