TBH, if you were working in there it could feel quite
intimidating. People feel much more comfortable when
you can see the customer face to face.

As said re religious reasons for covering the face, it
can seem as if, in both cases, the person has
something to hide.

There are a lot of thefts from petrol forecourts.
Security cameras are there for a reason, but they
are no good if you can't see the face.

Same rules apply in most shops

i'm afraid that asain ladys are able to wear there face veils so why aren't bikers allowed to keep there lids on, if they were gonna rob them there hardly gonna stand around waiting for it to get busyer.

can understand the point here....how many people go into a petrol station with cap and sun glasses on??? are they going to rob the place as well?!?!

the are argument that the cashiers are scared by them is nonsense.....how many ways are there for people to disguise themselves should they want to rob the place!!!!

it's a pointless argument from their point of view, just take the bikers money and be done with it.

agreed.

its always the same, we get penalised for everything we do and yet some religions allow there ppl to waer full face cover with nothing but pupils visable and they can do what they want. im sorry but they have shown that a guy can disguise them self as a woman and get on a plan. whos to say they can rob us!

the best majority of bikers are great ppl and very rarely you get a bad one!

What are we supposed to actually do with the lids once removed?? Balance them on the bike, would you leave your satnavs etc on the roof of your car while you were filling up and paying for some ****** to walk off with/knock on the floor?

And then there is the risk of dropping the thing, as if this happens it has to be replaced...

Not really just a 10 second issue is it.

Rode bike for years, always took the lid off when going in any shop, would feel like a knobber walking in with it on.

I wore glasses most of the time I was riding, no real problem, and unless you douse your hair in product i've no idea why you would wear a hair net.

Where do you put the lid, on the bars or maybe on the lid holder fitted to all bikes!!!!

even if there is someone to put, why should they HAVE to take them off?? it's ridiculous that all bikers with helmets on are treated as though they are all gonig to rob the joint!!!

all this, it's politeness to talk face to face, how many of those have spoken to some one else with sun glasse on???

any decent teacher will always tell u never to put yr helmet on the bars cos if u drop a helmet from waist height it useless! and as far as the helmet holder that wld take even more time shall i also put a lock on the wheel while im there

SO tell me how many of u car driver get annoyed when the car in front waste time resetting their trip meter and putting their seat belt on before moving away???????????????? takes about the same time
