Question Turbo upgrade? some friendly help plz :)

im after a new Turbo to go on my car before JGM maps my car dec/jan

im looking at the TD05

is this a good choice and what does this one look like on this link

Mitsubishi Evo Subaru Impreza TD05 Turbocharger Turbo on eBay, also Engine Tuning Parts, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 18-Nov-08 05:30:35 GMT)

i have a full 3" Decat system
225 Uprated fuel puml
Filter

is there any problem with that set up with a td05?

as am i right im saying they are a direct replacement to my TD04

Cheers

The listing you are watching is for an EVO TD05, they are not a straight replacment for a scooby as he has put in the listing....

"Mitsubishi Lancer, Evolution I II III IV V VI VII VIII, (Works with 4G63 Engine)
Subaru Impreza WRX (Will need mods in order to fit the Subaru)"

I seem to remember that they are reversed.... but can't be sure, I'm sure Frayz will be along to put you straight

You should have the Yellow 440's ? Also with the later Map sensor you can run higher boost too.

Don't expect more than 320-330 though not sure what your TMIC can take either ?

Darc, have a read here.

ScoobyNet - New_scooby_04

https://www.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-...-td05-16g.html

On my 1995 Simtek mapped STi I am running a TD05 16g on 440's later map sensor Hybrid FMIC and only expect 320/320. Scoobynet myth would have you believe 350 is possible on a 16g but I have it on good authority that 340 is only achievable with 'special fuel' and with a FMIC, FPR etc...

Also have a look at Trails MY00

Have a chat with Simon (JGM) and see what he recommends as he will be doing your mapping...

You'll be happy with his work, i know i am...

Here's a graph of a 330bhp Ecutek mapped MY00 classic on 440's and a FMIC so you can get the general idea of what to expect......
