Default I'm getting the scooby excitement back again

After a brief period of not really liking the car much due to continuous problems, engine etc etc, I'm starting to trust it again now, and enjoying driving it.

The modding bug has returned and have a few ideas coming together on where I'm going with the car this year.

And to top it all off It's being detailed tomorrow

Do you fall in and out of love with your scoob?

It will look very different indeed when you see it next, to what it did at Mencap.

I think when you go beyond the 'exhaust, panel filter, dump valve mod. you can kiss your 'ive got better things to spend my money on' goodbye.

And start to half the price of things when the wife asks..

Indeed, it goes silent in my house when the wife asks "where are we going on holiday this year"...can't afford it...."when are we getting the kitchen done".....next year...."I'd like a new bathroom"....mmmm would be good...anyway spoke to Zak about front mounts today

Have to admit for all its annoying age related flaws I am loving the scoob atm. Only a few hundred quid away from where I want to get it

The specD however

Stu, the answers simple, sell the spec D (your barely using it and having more fun with the wagon) than book the holiday and then see if there is anyone on here that can sort you a kitchen and bathroom

Simon, i'm impressed if you still declare 1/2 the costs

I'm sure there are some, that only declare the costs of things that can be seen, and the rest maybe at 1/2, poss less!

I know what you mean....

Germany made me fall in love with the RA

Then I had a fuel pipe bust nearly resulting in total nightmare spraying fuel everywhere over a hot engine...

Then I got the exhaust fully decatt'd and

But then now the Power Steering pump is letting go after spending over £300 on the rack a few months ago.

It's OK now, i've worked out what the funny handle between the seats is for! (Aways thought it was there to help change direction )

I'm always thinking about selling the scoob, it rarely comes out of the garage now, and the itch to get something different is always there.

The novelty of the bike has worn off, and the statistics of 5% of the road users are bikes, and 20% of accidents are bike related, so the FZR will get a respray and put up for sale soon.
