That style of flying is called 3D.

A good mate of mine can fly to almost that level. He can do almost every trick shown ther but maybe at about 80% of that speed.

That is a 60 size heli shown and Dan flys a 90, we bit bigger.

Im hoping to buy a 90 soon and learn how to fly 3D.

Yeah, gorgeous innit..

The engineering involved in these is absolutely incredible. I could sit and stare at one all day and still not take it all in.

Freya in action. Also listen to how much cross wind there is.. Smaller heli's would just get thrown about by this amount of wind.

i'll bring mine out of cotton wool mate and join you...

seems a shame as i have everything and its just sitting up at my folks, in their loft!!!

only flown it aqbout a dozen times with trainer sticks on (sean broke my trainer sticks - the plum) so i might have to get another set.

put me down for some training off your mate please frayz!!!

Wont be buying mine new mate..

I have a friend who flys 3D competitively and will be buying one of his heli's.

To build a 90 heli to competitive spec like his will see you in the reigion of about 4 grand!!

Finally got the parts to fix my Blade CX2 today. fitted them all and gone to fire her up....

I think the damm 4 in 1 ESC has thrown a paddy now

Now i need a new module

Hopefully being sorted now.

I need to get some practice in, Ive also bought the latest Phoenix RC flight sim to get my manovers dialed in too.

I can see hours and hours of practice ahead

I'd be interested to see the Phoenix Sim in action looks pretty good.

I never bothered to ready the manual, most of it's very straight forward, then just read the bits I needed.
