Scfg is used to setup what you want to data log, Sdata is used to connect to the ecu to download the logs and you can view they using Sview.

Here is one I did for ACT's and TPS

So the SSuite is correct. Do I need to calibrate by connecting to ECU so it completes the install?

Which main features do you use? I just want data logging & diagnostics.

Hi Kas

As above you will need download SSuite, install on your laptop, connect ECU with RJ45 cable(normal Ethernet cable for broadband),on your laptop select SData and there select Data -> Read Data/Auto read

If you want log more parameters, which doesn't show at logs the ,with connected ECU please select SCfg,then select Device -> Get config, then will appear window and you can select which one parameter you want log in which frequency

Which parameters, means what have look on this

http://www.syvecs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=356

If you have all sensors installed, you should be able log data for oil temp/pressure,fuel pressure,ACT(air charge temperature),wideband,EGT..

Awesome!!! Cheers lads!

This is fun stuff!

Is it simple to add features like delayed cranking? Am i correct to say that 0-60/speed etc cant be logged?

I am installing 1000cc ID's from 750's, would be nice to add a safety feature so I can do a 30 mile trip to get mapped, or would it be safer just to drive off boost lol.

Kas personally I would speak to your mapper and he can send you the safe map for 1000cc and you can flash ECU via SCal

Yes you can log as boost, knock,RPM,speed etc.,all depends what you want to log and what sensor you have installed/fitted...You can import your logs to the Virtual Dyno

Agreed doesn't load, you will need modify LOG,this I don't know how to do

Second thing if you want to do this Virtual Dyno..

You need to go out on a FLAT road and put the car in 4th (6-spd) or 3rd (5-spd). Slow the car down until RPM has dropped to 1800-2000 rpm. Now go WOT and do a pull from 2000 - Redline (7k RPM)

But probably best is contact Jasper K. ( http://www.syvecs.com/forum/memberli...c266ffe3e9cd9f )on the Syvecs/Nasioc forum,I'm sure he will able to help you with this.

Thanks for the info peeps. Been speaking to a few mappers on nasioc who are very helpful.

Was monitoring boost the other night and it really helps towards how to improve the car even more and when to change gear.

A lot of info to cover though. I was going to have a got at installing the new launch control firmware but it looks complex. Rather leave it for Simon to do.

Kas

You are mean Flat foot shifting not Launch control,LC is easy to set and this you can do

Agreed on FFS(Flat foot shifting) is complex to do,but if you know what means what,is easy to do and you can do yourself, but if you are not sure, leave to your mapper

I just had a quick look at this, and I can get Virtual Dyno to load Syvecs files by doing the following:
  • load the log in SView
  • make sure TPS, MAP1 and RPM are displayed
  • Use "File | export" to save as a comma delimited file
  • Manually edit the file and remove the spurious lines at the beginning so you just have the data
  • Edit the data column headings to be "TPS" rather than TPS1 and MAP rather than MAP1

I then found it loaded in OK. But not had a detailed look to see if what's loaded in makes sense or not!
