0.7 would be for around 625cc
1.0 for 440cc

I got my car tuned by a pro on 440s and vf22 using 97/98 ESL and that map also has inj scale at 0.7.
I guess fuel map is tuned accordingly to compensate...

Or just set the injector scale correctly then tune the fuel map?

That's exactly what I did when I tried to tune it myself

Fuel map shows about 22 at idle then 10 at highest part of map
Does maf scale change this

MAF scale will change load values that ECU will see, so if you change it you may need to to alter your fuel table to get correct AFRs. Also, since you are running mafless, you may want to look at fuel map in raw values, AFR values like 22 and 10 are now not really representing anything meaningful. You better switch representation to raw values and tune them until you get resulting AFRs on your wideband as needed. Also you will need to disable closed loop fueling feedback while tuning fuel.

With Mafless the injector scale can vary depending on how the maf scale was calculated so its not quite true to say the injector scale is wrong, it may be correct if the maf scaling is out to get accurate fuel table readings

I did the opposite, i set my fuel table targets and altered injector scale to read what the fuel table does on my wideband

Wow, is that really possible in mafless? Because it's really nice to see correct AFRs in fuel table, but as I understand, without MAF sensor fuel table doubles as VE table and it might need changing... You cant's just get one parameter right and then just set AFRs as needed in fuel table when there's no separate VE table, as I understand...
Am I missing something?

OP is mafless.
Using an injector scale at over 40% the target can't be right?
Just set it correctly and tune in raw values until you hit your AFRs?
More than one way to skin a rabbit I suppose.

As i say though for mafless if maf sensor scale is out his injector scale will be out, need to make sure the maf sensor scale is right, then correct injector scale or then do your method etc
