Default Welcome to the Driving Dynamics Forum

Hi All
As many of your know, this subject is my personal favourite! We have never had a dedicated forum for it, as we used to have the "DrivingTechniques" partner site. Unfortunately (due to the host at the time having difficulties and becoming uncontactable) it looks like all of those articles and forum topics are gone forever.

So.. I thought we'd start a new one here, and if it becomes busy, we'll know there is enough interest to warrant putting the full site up again.

Enjoy

All the best

Simon

Thumbs up Nice One Simon

Excellent news and a welcome addition.

Simon, as a start, can you prehaps post new threads on particular aspects of driving techniques, as a sort of FAQ/knowledgebase?

There's a lot of info in your head that'd benefit everyone

Puff

I'd love to do that, unfortunately time is too short to do anything really worthwhile in the short term.

What I've done is posted a quiz, which can start to act as a kind of "sound bite" FAQ, and as you know, the forum discussions will create far more diverse and useful information that I could hope to create on my own.

I will however be writing the odd artcile here and there and will be looking for others to do the same, on this and other subjects.

All the best

Simon

One of my favourite subjects too, because there is rarely a simple right answer, it all depends.

It is also the area people SHOULD concentrate on first, but never do, when modyfying cars.

I've done the BMW driving Dynamics course which you get when buying an "M - series" and learnt more in one day about driving than I ever thought possible. Humbling experience.
