For a modded MY00 I have the option of the above. Anyone know the difference with the A vs B and whether the Bosch plugs are good?

Hi John.
I have always had Jap cars and i have testet alot of plugs and i can tell you that Bosch plugs dont work for long in a jap engine.
go for NGK!.
I have just replaced my HKS plugs with NGKPFR7.
And the misfire i had for a long time has disapeart!.

I think the 7 is the temperature compared with 6 as standard on a UK. What is A and B?

7 is the temperature.
Don't know what A and B are.

I'd go for NGK also. They're OEM and as a plus, they're more reliable.

I'd refit standard plugs unless you're seeing a problem...how do the OE ones look?

The diff. between A and B is That the iridium tip is longer on the A type!
Just look in a ngk katalog and you can see it.
The B plug is the one to use in your engine.

The OEM ones are fine except the tip of number 3 is not as good as it could be - a bit blunted. With this in mind and modifications I need number 7 plugs, so NGK PFR 7B it is then. And some nice Motul oil.
