I cant decide between the two. The SS seems to have a better rep for noise n power, but is well pricey new. But it just doesnt look as nice as a Magnex 6X4 oval pipe. Which one should I get and why? Does the Magnex make as nice a sound or is the SS better. Has the SS got a 3.5" chrome pipe or not, I thanku

I've had both - started off with the magnex and it does give a lovely sound. Was the 3.5" round, easy to live with and great on motorways but when gunning it sounded great.
I changed it for the SS which is also 3.5" and it is *MUCH* louder. Loads of pops and bangs now too which I rarely got with the Magnex. The Magnex however is quite a bit cheaper and when I took it off my car and put alongside the SS, the build quality of the magnex looked far superior, plus its got a lifetime warranty against the SS's 25 year.

Its all up to you, there's not much difference power wise, the SS is a bit more free flowing but I'd say they were almost the same for power. Depends if you want LOUD or not

i'm in the same quandary as bioforger and spookily enuff looking to put the back box on the my02 around may/june.
i too was taken by the magnex but then SS seems to be more popular.
oh decisions decisions.

Can only comment on the SS BB - I love it! Fighter plane noise when under acceleration is fantastic, in tunnels and with the windows down ... brilliant! In the car the noise is quite discreet at low revs but does warble nicely when the right foot goes down

From the outside the noise is brilliant - I take the dog out most evenings to meet the missus as she comes hom in the scoob just to hear the noise ... fantastic!!
