Default 40kms - What to do ?

Hi all,

I need a list if what I need to do to my JDM STi7 MY2001. It has 40,000 KMS on the clock and was purchased from new in early 2002.

Mods: Full Scooby Sport Decat from turbo back, Uprated fuel pump, restrictor change to control over boost

So far I have changed the oil every 5,000 KMS (currently running on Mobil 1 15 - 50).

I have also changed the spark plugs one time at about 20,000 KMS as well as the air filter at about 30,000 KMS

There is no Subaru STi service center here so I have to basically tell them what I want them to do at the service.

Was thinking the following:

Change oil obviously
Drain all coolant and replace with new coolant
Drain all brake fluid and add new blake fluid
Change Gear box oil
Change Rear diff oil
Rotate wheels

Brake pads still look good but I will check them out
Should I change the clutch fluid ?
When do I need to do the cambelt change ?

Anything else I have missed ?

Things to note:

Car only has 40,000 KMS but is a MY2001.
High ambient temps year round basically
Almost all city driving / stop and go driving
On an island so salty air environment

If anyone has a link to page showing fluid levels (such as gear box etc) I would appreciate it.

Thanks for everyones help.

Cheers,
Ray

That sounds right......& get them to inspect cambelt & make recommendations - you don't want that baby to go

If STI has same service schedule as WRX then you wonīt need to do the cambelt till around 100.000kmīs. Iīm at 85.000 kmīs with my MY01 WRX and have already ordered the parts for this job from USA.

can someone comment about when to change coolant fluid? Donīt think it says anything bout it in the Subaru service booklet.
