Default want a quieter back-box

my exhaust mods are :

gen spec II headers and up-pipe from dr motorsport
magnex twin dump down-pipe
H+S de-cat non-res centre section
H+S scoobysport back-box,the 1 with the 4" tail-pipe which is the loud 1

what im after is a back box that still looks the mutz nutz
but is quiet,as you can imagine with all my exhaust mods it is damn loud

i already have a buyer for the H+S bb so plz dont reply with ''ill buy it of you;; lol ;-)

thinking of a ninja, only cuz ive been told theyre quieter.
and i do like the look of them

anymore suggestions ?

ps,,,i replaced my blitz nur spec R with the H+S stuff and its actually louder now

cheers in advance

I've not heard a Ninja, but it probably is slightly quieter than the H+S.

They also do a resonated centre section to go with it.

see http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/trolleyed/8/23/index.htm

(They have sound files on there)

Firestorm isn't renowned as a "quiet" box, on the noisier side of average I would say.

Start with the resonated centre, that will save you a bit of boom and maybe 2-3 dBs. If it's still too loud, genuinely quieter boxes are things like Remus, MRT, Prodrive, APS, scoobysport quiet.

Headers in general reduce tailpipe noise rather than increase it, as they are closer to equal length than OEM, although I don't know you particular headers.

Wrapping downpipe in particular in thermal wrap can apparently also help reduce noise inside the car significantly (suggest you may as well wrap the up-pipe and headers to optimise thermal performance whilst you're at it).
