hi all anyone got an opinioun on the best/worst front mount intercooler
i wanted aps but dont want soft pipes so it looks like a hks
there is not a lot of price dif between them all anyway so i might as well get a good one first time round
i am sure you will all have an opinion of your exp with whatever cooler

ye but they dont come with hard pipes cant even buy them sep without trying to meld 2 dif kits mor expence ya no
i do like the aps fits the hole perfect but cant get to grips with all that rubber

What about an apexi, fins are certainly robust, piping is all metal. Size is slightly smaller than HKS but core is VERY free flowing.

I'd go with the Apexi, core is meant to be one of the best, and it comes with hard pipes.
Had the HKS the pipes are good, but the fins are far too soft for constant road use, you have to mesh the i/c otherwise the fins bend, then of course you've restricted the airflow slightly by putting mesh on it.
APS is good, but the pipes are sh1te, seen too many cars with holes in the silicone pipework for my liking.
