i wanted aps but dont want soft pipes so it looks like a hks there is not a lot of price dif between them all anyway so i might as well get a good one first time round i am sure you will all have an opinion of your exp with whatever cooler fitting strength power (max) looks ext ext ext Thanks ;);););););););); Trev uk99 |
APS are alot harder wearing than the hks
Im talking about the fins [Edited by R.B - 11/17/2003 9:10:58 PM] |
ye but they dont come with hard pipes cant even buy them sep without trying to meld 2 dif kits mor expence ya no
i do like the aps fits the hole perfect but cant get to grips with all that rubber |
I got HKS
Fins are a bit weak but mesh up the front and its all good :D |
What about an apexi, fins are certainly robust, piping is all metal. Size is slightly smaller than HKS but core is VERY free flowing.

APS do now come with hard pipes, they are on my new age! :D

ye new age only the pipes dont fit classic :(

Greddy do a front mount for the classic with hard pipes had one on mine . .

I'd go with the Apexi, core is meant to be one of the best, and it comes with hard pipes.
Had the HKS the pipes are good, but the fins are far too soft for constant road use, you have to mesh the i/c otherwise the fins bend, then of course you've restricted the airflow slightly by putting mesh on it. APS is good, but the pipes are sh1te, seen too many cars with holes in the silicone pipework for my liking. |
Check my post about a cheaper alternative.
