i remember reading somewhere that the back box from a my00 can have a bracket altered to fit a my02 sti uk, is this true before i sell my system ?

...and I have heard (and seen!) that the pipe length is slightly different - the one from the muffler bit to the centre section.
Which would be rather harder to change

From a previous thread I remember Pete Croney offering to weld an additional bracket on to a classic scoob backbox. Price was about £40

Firstly I am not 100% sure of the correct distances but Trouser at TSL would

The bracket/rubberband support closest the back pipe flange.is on the one side for the <MY00 and >MY01 is on the other side and 10mm higher or lower so if a little bit of measuring & TIG welding and the jobs a good "UN"

IT does fit.
I took my scoobysport of a my99 and took it up to them who modified it in 15 miutes and fitted it to new STI 7 so dont get rid of it.

I have got a my01 scorpion box on a my00 ... just didn't use that hanger ! Secured it another way
