UK2000 gearbox\diff\shafts\hubs
So, previous own put a JDM gearbox TY52vb3fa and diff on my UK2000 1999, would they have put different shafts and hubs on it. I ask because the gearbox is toast and I've sourced the one that should be on the car TY54vn1aa. I just don't know if I need the shafts and hubs to match? I have to option i guess better to be safe?

When my gearbox went the gearbox and diff were changed, not the hubs or anything else.
Couldn't find the exact model for mine so put something else in.

Ah yeah good spot, I'll be getting the box\diff\shafts\prop\cradle and i standard flywheel as the lightened one on it just doesn't feel right. My plan is to refurb it all and hot swap it, well pay for it swapping as I don't have the space or tools to do the job. I know about the box and diff matching just wasn't sure on the shafts\hubs so cheers.

front shafts should be the original ones from your car as the ABS position changes for the early cars BUT it may well have odd rear shafts due to early classics using different diff set-ups.........

Alyn is most probably right with you fitting a JDM box you quite possibly changed the rear shafts at the same time you may possibly need to locate the correct shafts with abs rings to keep things right. Can't remember but earlier JDM cars didn't have abs.
Is your abs working.
