hi people i have blown my gearbox on my95 wrx jdm turbo with sti fitted.
i have been offered another box gearbox code TY752VBCAA will this fit my car its from a JDM Impreza WRX & WRX STi Ver.III/IV MY97-98 i no ill have to change the diff as my current diff is 4.111 and the diff from this gearbox is 4.444 but will i need to change anything else as i have heard the back drive shafts are diffrent or is it a case of just changing the diff and gearbox also is it a good gearbox from the uk box i had fitted any help would be appriaicated

What gearbox code is on your slam panel, as VN is usually a UK car and VB is Import.

I did my gearbox in and fitted a TY754VB1AA, a later box and diff from a JDM car, replaced my original JDM TY752VB3FA.

Most boxes will work as long as you get the gearbox/diff/gearlever.

 

I have used most gear boxes sti boxes and uk boxes
But because this box comes with rear drive shafts aswell was
Not sure if I needed to fit them aswell or just case of swapping diff and gearbox
