Default cheapest WRX MY06 Deal?

Looking to buy a my06 wrx, cheapest I've found so far is at allbrandsnew, £15,544 on the road, anyone seen cheaper? Any recommendations/warnings?

Whats the latest on the warranty situation, did it all get sorted so now 3yrs warranty on euro imports. My Subaru main dealer says its only 1yr warranty but I though it was all back to 3yrs?

cheers, Stales

I believe that all brands new is £16,044 OTR inc metallic. There is a nice chap called Wayne Stones at Clarence Street Motor depot in Hull where I got mine from. £15,995 OTR metallic crystal grey. I got 2Yr warranty with an option purchase a 3rd Yr.
Great sale, no problem. Went in for a look around on the 5th Jan, collected 31st. Could of been earlier but for DVLA plate changes.
Motor Provider at Sheffield is the same price as all brands new, but they may now do 3Yr warranty.
Great motor though. Taking it steady (below 4K RPM) for the first 1K and managing to get 24mpg !!
Service at 1K ~£90 at Subaru, though my local Mitsubishi will do for £75.

cheers ALYA, I bet you're hoping those first 1000 miles fly by so you can opn it up!!! I've had a phone around today and am probably going to go for Alliance, they seem to get good reports on here and offer 3yr manufacturers warranty. Its 16095 on the road or £16394 inc cat 1 alarm fitted and they have the cars in stock. The thing with them is i would be the first registered keeper and also they have side airbags as uk which most dont. Going for a black one me thinks. Need to sort the fjnances out though as was hoping to pay for some of it on VISA but they don't accept it! Dont want to wait though!!!! Enjoy yours anyway and let me know what you think of it.

Cheers Stales

I am the first registered keeper with motor depot. £16,095 is a good price with side airbags & 3Yr warranty. That must be worth £300. Why don't you play one against the other ? Motor Depot (01482) 585058. The thing that won it for me was that I am just 20 min drive from Motor Depot. I guess that is something else you may need to consider - and sold my old MG ZS180 private.

Saw a cracking March 1st '06' plate STi in blue with gold alloys parked out the lads school. Beautiful - Could not justify the extra £6K. Had to park mine round the corner !!!

Did yours come with a cat 1 alarm? I've never really understood why an STi is 6k more than a WRX, seems an awful lot of money for what, 40bhp or something. you going to go for ppp? Does it knacker the warranty if you do, heard it has to be done at point of sale by supplying dealer?

Got a Cobra fitted at a local auto electrician that sits over the top of the existing. Thatcham aproved as the existing Mitsubishi electric company standard fit is not approved. Got it linked into the keyfob. £199 Fitted.
Mods - Only a Scoobyworld afterburner vortex rear for now. Cannot really do to much I don't think with regards to warranty. I'll just wait. At least the rear box is only two bolts and a gasket !!!

Hi Mate picked up my new 06 WRX from Motorhouse 2000 in Cannock last wednesday. £15999 otr I had black one but they had blue crystalgrey and silver in stock Cat one alarms are £369 I think, plus they didnt pressure me to buy it. I am first registered keeper on the logbook and will get 3 years subaru warranty with the car all checked out with my dealer aswell. Cant wait to get past that 1000 service to open it up a little more.

PPP can be fitted anytime and does not invalidate warranty on a UK car but not sure about imports, depends if the warranty is with IM. STi is far more of a car than WRX. We are just about to take a Type UK 06 (06) in crystal grey done 6000 miles and we are selling it for £18990.00 That is one great value motor. Want to know more ring me at Chandlers Grantham on 01476 590077. Cheers Gary
