Triton or Sparshatts ???
HI,
Just bought my first Scooby (older style 2000 model) and it is in need of a service (and possibly a few other bits ??!!) As I live in Poole (Dorset) I have the choice of either Tritons over at the airport or Sparchatts at Hedgend. Anyone got any recomendations ?? Thanks

There is Olympian in Wallisdown, but not heard good reports about them. Personal choice really, ring 'em all up for a quote.
Had my first service a Sparshatts and was happy with the service, if you dont mind the drive over there.
Quite a few from our area use Triton, I did use them for my mot, but their service quote was very similar to the main dealers when I rang.

, travel anywhere else mate. Ask anybody on the hampshire subaru site!!!!, they all say the same thing, me being one of them.

Thanks for the info gents ... Had to deal with Olympian with my wife's car a while ago and WON'T be going back - not a good experience. 8-(.
As Triton is closer (and their quotes were slightly cheaper than Sparshatts) I'll give them a go. Scooby is standard at the mo so the Bakers Arms meet would be good to see what can be done. As I'm on Canford Heath it's only a couple of minutes away!!!

Kevin, you'll meet a couple of other from Canford Heath if you come to the meet..... i tend to drag the guys and gal all over the place with the meets, that way we actually get to use the cars every now and then......

Why not try one of the many independants? I always had Hughes Motor Company at Branksome Business Park service my MY99, excellent service and had no problems covering over 30,000 in 6 months

My only experience of Spar****s was 5 years ago and was with their Sales team ...... absolutely amazingly bad treatment by the Sales Manager at that time, hopefully he is no longer dealing with the general public - he was a disgrace to the human race!
I thought if thats how they treat you when they want you to buy something ... then god knows how terrible their After Sales Service will be - by what I have heard, here and elsewhere, they are an utter shambles.
Webbers in Basingstoke are a new Subaru Dealer in Hampshire, I asked for a service quote from them when they opened - they said they would ring back and never did .... that is unforgivable in my eyes (especially as you are a new dealer!) the Service manager simply didn't know anything about Subarus at that time (2 months ago), he may have had some training now?
I travelled to Simpsons at Highworth in Wiltshire, they always treated me fairly.
Now, out of warranty, its the Independents or go it alone for me.
