Thanks for those who posted regarding Hexham dealership.

Just to even things up, anyone care to rate experience at Palmers in Carlisle?

Excellent. Just fitted the ppp to my sti and the done the geometry with the prodrive springs well chuffed with the results. Although I would have been better to have told me the car would smell of petrol for a bit, then I wouldn't have rushed back through the following morning to get the smell checked out . Other than that Great.

Default Palmers vs Hexham

Palmers are first class. Bought last two MY02 WRX & MY04 STi off them. No problems with a test drive even stayed late on a Sunday for us to Test drive their demo model. Servicing no problems courtesy cars available . Good Trade in prices compared to Hexham IE . £3500 more given for a My01 DBM Sport than Hexham were offering off an 02 WRX. 1 Yr old DBM Sport was worth £ 6000 according to Hexham . Got £9500+ off Palmers.
Definetly worth travelling to Palmers

Yeah Top Garage is Stans

and they are interested in scoobys unlike many other performance dealers

Sensible prices for servicing and good prices

For me a Turbo was £2500 cheaper than Hexham and a proper test drive too

Errr.. not your "normal" Scooby dealer by a long chalk

OK, you have to pay the normal Scooby Dealer rates for labour but this is offset in a major way by a bunch of blokes with cars on their minds

They look after quite a number of the local scoobs including imports / grey imports like mine with over 300 BHP and there are a lot of very happy customers AFAIK...... I'm booked in soon for a 3" cat back exhaust from Revolution Motorsport.

Just ask for Ian Armstrong......

STI 05 Richie?

Had all my service's done at Palmer's, never had any complaints and make a change from the usual car dealers who give you an endless list of things that your car needs doing.

Midlife - I forgot to look at the office chairs last time I was in...

Nice car - saw it last time I was at Palmer's just before Christmas.

3-0 is nothing - I'm a bigger kid now at the positively ancient 3-2
