Where's the cheapest place for a Dawes Device?

Cheers!
I just got off the phone to Jamie at JW Racing and I was told it's £50 PLUS £5 postage!! Being the sole importer, you'd think there was scope for a little discount but no! So, the GBE Manual Boost Controller from Scoobyshop is the one that gets my business!
Thanks Paul, you just posted in the nick of time!!

Hmm I have a Dawes Device, I paid £83 for the old Race Version plus £5 Carriage on a next day delivery, I am over the moon with it, as are around 400 other people, so why is £55 such a problem???

Cant't say much about the GBE but I can vouch for the Dawes. Even the standard version helped my spool up and there was no spike at all. I'm getting another one for my new car as I sold my one with my last car.

£50 for a pneumatic valve... their aving a larf
$42 here http://www.dawesdevices.com/boost.html but ignore the sales patter as it's still a valve intended for use in an air-line, just the the pressures match those we want in our cars.
Parts can be purchased to build your own at a fraction of the cost
See http://www.xmission.com/~dempsey/perform/grainger.htm

RBS no108.
You're raving mad if you don't buy the Dawes device...
The other boost controller has no air bleed on it, from what I can gather from the website.
The Dawes has a small hole drilled to allow some pressure to bleed sot hat the throttle response is not jerky and you don't knacker the car through wrong fuelling mix..
Do a search on "dawes device" and you will see all the talk about it in the early days and the problems it caused by not having a hole...also check out www.i-club.com and do a search there. The Yanks also had problems...
Failing that, speak to John Banks on here who knows everything about them!
The Dawes is well researched and engineered for the Scoob...
