Question

I am thinking about importing a WRX from Eurekar at a cost of 16,995 quid which about 5000 quid off the normal price :-)

Has anyone used these importers and can recommend them or any another. The wait time is 5 months, but I'm not back from Toronto for 4 months anyway!!!

Thanks

Cool

Thanks Dan,

I was browsing after posting, and came across another thread on the General board with the Litchfield details.

I phoned Iain, whos seems a really nice bloke, and he's sending me more details. The 16,158 price includes a 3 year warrenty! Also I'll be getting a MY03, but may have to pay more or less depending on the Subaru price increase/decrease.

He also seems to think the model is having cosmetic changes (hopefully)

The wife has said yes too! :-D

Sad thing is that over here in Toronto I can get a brand new Scooby WRX for 14,100 quid without looking too far. However shipping costs, tax etc ...

I have had personal dealings with Iain Litchfield, I bought a STi7 from him.

Iain is a top bloke and I can assure you that he looks after his customers very well, I can honestly say that Iains friendliness and Customer cares skills are second to NONe and that the franchised Subaru Dealerships should take a leaf from his book, I did have a slight problem with my car but Iain arranged for it to be sorted out and even offered to Fly up to Scotland now thats what I call service.

If he has offered you a good deal then you should have no worries dealing with him

hope this helps

Superb price, I thought a new WRX would be beyond my reach but if the 2003 facelifted ones can be had for just over 16k....

If your car is a Euro Import, ie from any country in the EEC and has been brought into the country since Jan02 All cars carry a full 2 YEAR WARRANTY check this out. This is an EEC rulling and your car should have this hope this helps

Ordered my WRX from Eurekar last week. £16600 including Sigma Cat1 alarm fitted. It should be delivered to my door at the end of October. No price fluctuation guaranteed. Praying all goes smoothly. Very nice girl called Wendy keeping me updated by email and phone.

scoobyroof - that's news to me, though I'd love to believe you. My euro import WRX arrived in May02, and according to the warranty book, it has one year warranty.

If the ruling exists, great - how do I find out about it? How come Subaru Benelux don't seem to know - Or are they just evil and decided to not tell us?

OK, any idea how much and waiting times for the new 2003 model WRX? (assuming the same sources). I'm thinking Litchfield or Eurekar, as both were claiming £16,200 for the basic 2002 WRX. Elsewhere its commonly available for £17,995 at car supermarkets.
